  • School inspectors are in school Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th April.

     The school is being inspected by Ofsted this Wednesday and Thursday.  A letter has been sent home to all parents/carers explaining the process.  
  • Red Nose Day 15th March

    Today is Red Nose Day! To help raise much needed funds for the cause staff and children may wear their own clothes for a small contribution. The only rule is that something you wear should be red in colour!

  • Reception Playground Complete!

    Our reception playground is now pretty much complete! The children have been trying out the various activities and features of their new playground today in the early Spring sunshine!

  • History Man!

    Last week we had a visit from the 'History Man' This time he taught us all about World War 2, how the war started and how the countries involved became involved.

    He brought numerous props from during the war including numerous Military hats etc. from different countries.
    He also brought a genuine Air Raid Siren, it was very loud!
    We also got to see a genuine old British Army rifle, a Lee Enfield .303 nearly 100 years old! This rifle saw service in both World Wars 1 and 2.










    We talked about how radar was used to detect German Submarines in the Atlantic.
    Even Miss Marshall got involved modelling a Serviceman's steel helmet



  • Film Club Starts on Monday 4th February

    Film club starts for anybody in Year 4, 5 or 6.  If you haven't already, ask Mr McGrath for a permission letter.
