Mrs Judge from the science college visited us this week (18.06.18). We had the opportunity to perform some experiments. We also tested different materials and discussed their physical properties, grouping them together.
The children had a very exciting visit from Animals take over, where they were able to hold different animals. The children learnt about what a mammal, reptile, amphibian, bird and fish was and the structure of some of the animals/insects. The children were so brave and held most of the animals, take a look below!
In science, we have learnt about the human body. The children had to identify, name, label and draw the basic parts of the human body. We also looked at the muscles, bones and the skin and carried out an experiment to see what they felt like. Take a look at our pictures below.
