Autumn 1 Blog

This half term the children have enjoyed learning about Autumn and looking closely at what happens to the leaves during Autumn. We went on a leaf hunt all around school collecting leaves and twigs. We used our senses to look, smell and touch the leaves some were very ,very soggy! We found some bugs hiding in the leaves too. The children used the leaves for lots of activities including making a collage picture of a hedgehog. We used the parachute to shake the leaves really fast and really slow. We threw the leaves high up in the air and put them on our friends heads, we had so much fun. We helped the grown ups to sweep up the leaves after we had finished them such a big help!
