Welcome back after the Easter holiday, hope you all had a lovely break and enjoyed the amazing weekend of sunshine.
As we enter May, the Year 2 and Year 6 SAT tests take place. The children in Year 2 will be completing these throughout the month. The Year 6 children will complete theirs starting Monday 13th and finishing on Thursday 16th May.
This year a member of our school community suffered a tragic loss. Abdul-Haadi in our Nursery passed away leaving a gap in the lives of his family and also in the school family too.
As a lasting memory to this special boy, school are planting a tree with his family and the other children in his class on his birthday, at 11:00 on Wednesday 1stMay, in the Nursery playground.
The family have also set up a crowd-funding page to raise money in his memory to help children in Yemen. As the holy month of Ramadan is coming soon, school would like to adopt this as our charity during Ramadan and invite parents to donate to this worthy cause.
