Newsletter – Friday 15th July

Another amazing and very busy week!  Our children have been to the beach, the park and some have completed their celebration assembly.  Next week is equally as busy but is also promising to be very very hot!

Hot Weather

According to the news and weather it is going to be hot next week on Monday and Tuesday.  As a school, we have looked at the activities taking place in school and written a risk assessment to address some of the possible issues.

We will assess whether the children can play outside at breaktime and lunchtime on a day-by-day basis and PE will take place inside, if needed.  We will ensure children have access to water whenever they need it during lesson and break times too.

If you could ensure children come to school in uniform but are prepared to take off their jumpers, fleeces and hoodies to keep themselves cool.  If they want to wear grey school shorts they are more than welcome.  If you want your child to bring a sun hat (wide brimmed hat, not a baseball hat) they can wear it when outside.  Also, if you feel your child needs sun cream, please apply it in the morning before school.

If you have any questions or further concerns please speak to either myself or Mrs Loader.  We will both be on the yard on Monday and Tuesday in the morning.
