Update 4th January

Dear Parents and Carers,

After updated and scrutinising our risk assessment we have made the decision that school can reopen to all children tomorrow, apart from those attending the 2-year-old provision.

Our main concern when making our decision whether to open was the high number of cases and class bubble closures we had in school during the Autumn term.  Can I remind all parents and carers that they need to  inform us of any positive results or any family members they live with who are showing any symptoms immediately.  Those people need to isolate and This will mean that we will be able to keep all staff and children in school as safe and protected as they can be.

You can contact school through ringing the main office 0161 6330539, through the Facebook page @stthomaswerneth or by clicking this link and filling out the form: https://www.stthomaswernethprimary.co.uk/covid-form/

Can I also ask if you change your mobile or home phone number you inform the office, we had a number of occasions this last term where we have been unable to reach parents and carers.
