Dear Parents/Carers,
We received an update from Public Heath England today related to isolating and children who have the 3 main COVID-19 symptoms.
These are the 3 main symptoms:
If your child shows any of these symptoms they need to get a PCR test (the tests either completed at a testing centre or through postal tests) and isolate until they get the results.
Nobody else in the home needs to isolate unless they show symptoms themselves but it is advisable for you to get a PCR test too.
If a child gets sent home from school with symptoms they will be required to provide a negative PCR result before they are allowed back in. If you choose not to get a PCR test, the child will need to isolate for 10 days from the first day of symptoms.
