Year Three
Welcome back to Year Three, after another lockdown. In year 3 the children will be working with Mr Cockson, Miss Lee, Mrs Richards, Mrs Hall, Mr Ali, Miss Platt, Mrs Martin and Miss White .
Remember to bring your book bag to school each and everyday containing:
-Your reading book and reading record
- Times Table card.
You may also want to bring this week's spelling list in to practise.
Our PE days for this term are:
3PC= Tuesday (P.E.)
3ML = Tuesdays and Fridays
Children should wear their P.E. kit all day during these days.
When doing P.E, you need to wear a plain white T-Shirt, black bottom (e.g. plain leggings or shorts), and plain trainers. Later on in the year, you may be asked to wear black pumps.
Due to the lockdowns 3ML have now finished their swimming lessons, 3PC will go swimming next half term. Letters will be sent to parents with details.
When swimming, you need a swimming costume / shorts, a towel and a swimming hat if needed. Please see the swimming guidelines below for more information.
We try to do the Daily Mile or another physical exercise with the children every afternoon. This is for a short time and children will do it in their uniform.

Homework will be given out regularly. There will be a mix of homework to be completed in homework books and other tasks on Seesaw. There are additional links below.

3ML enjoying 'Drip Painting' just like Jackson Pollock. We had lots of fun. We used colours linked to our volcano theme!
Science - Making magnetic games. The children were so creative and enjoyed playing each others games.
Making our own Stonehenge using Bourbon biscuits!
3ML - We have had an amazing half term and we celebrated with our treat afternoon. We had some craft time, colouring and making friendship bracelets. Played some party games and even had a pancake picnic. Hope you all enjoyed it 3ML, you really deserved it after all your hard work.

Stone Age Jewellery
Our theme for worship this half term is 'Thankfulness', the pupils chose someone who they would like to thank in school and made them a thank you card. We delivered them with a chocolate to really say thank you!
Year 3 had a visit from Mr B, a Stone Age expert. We all had lots of fun, and learnt many more interesting facts.
