Firstly, the children were used to make a timeline, so we could understand how long a go the Vikings were around.
We then met Viking Eric Bloodax who got us to make a long boat for our Viking adventure over to England. The children turned themselves into dragon heads, the hull, the oars, the sale and Vikings sailing.
We then took on the adventure of having to sail from Scandinavia to England. We came across some rocks which caused problems for our long boat journey.
We then looked at, sorted and experienced artefacts and Viking weapons. The children got the chance to try them on and experience what it was like to use a sword.
