Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome back and Happy New Year, all at St. Thomas’ hope you had a lovely break.  It was wonderful to see all the children back in school on time and ready to learn.

We are carrying on our drive toward the children being in school lined up at 8:50 meaning that the children can start their lessons on time.  Thank you all for your incredible support with this, it has made such a huge difference already.

Uniform

Can I remind parents and carers that children need to be in their uniform every day (Green jumper, yellow polo shirt and black/grey trousers or skirt and black school shoes).  For their PE day, can they still come in their PE kit (plain white t-shirt and black leggings or jogging pants and pumps/trainers).

Please come and ask at the office if you are struggling to get uniform we do have some second hand, washed and clean uniform in school. 

Home/School Agreement

Over the next few weeks, you will receive a text message linking to our home/school agreement.  When your child started school; either in Nursery, Reception or later you will have filled it in and returned it; but we need an updated copy.

If you can read it carefully, sign the appropriate parts and then submit the form we can update our records in school.

If you have any questions, please ask at the office.

Contact information and medical forms

Our medical information in school has been collected through the online program, Operoo.  You will have received an email or text message with the details explaining how to create an account and update the information. On this program you will be able to update any medical information (allergies and medication needed) and contact details including phone numbers and addresses.

I will resend the message out today to the parents and carers who have not created an account.  If you cannot access Operoo and need to update any medical information, please speak to the school office.
