Newsletter – Friday 22^nd November 2019

What a wonderful, busy week!  A great deal of our children have taken part in the film festival and enjoyed a trip to the cinema.  We have over 25 children just head off to Robin Wood for a weekend stay, rock climbing, raft building and many more exciting things.  Our Year 1 children went for a walk around our local environment for their geography and some of our Year 5 and 6 children have been on a visit to Manchester University.

We had our visit from the SIAMS inspector this week.  She spent a day in school looking at what makes our school special and the teaching of RE and worship.

We will get a report in the next 15 days with all of her finding and it will be shared as soon as we get it.  It was a very positive day and she wanted to thank all of the parents and children who she spoke to over the day.

Next week is going to be another amazing week!

Monday 

The next group of Reception children are at Oldham Library in the morning.

Wednesday

The school nurse is in to administer the nasal flu vaccine to any children who have filled in the permission form.
