Welcome to our Year 6 page.  We hope that it gives you lots of information and shows what wonderful learning we have been doing. Mr Armstrong and Mr Gwynne are the class teachers and Mrs Grattidge, Mrs Khatun and Mrs Prince support the children's learning.  

Below is our curriculum planner showing what the children will be learning over the year.

Please remember that PE kits should be a white t-shirt,  black jogging bottoms and trainers or pumps. Both classes have PE on Monday and Friday afternoon so it is best to bring in PE kits on a Monday and take them home to be washed  on a Friday.

Reading books are to be brought into school daily.  

Homework will be given out half termly within a rubric grid.  We are working on making our children as independent as possible so please encourage them to take responsibility for completing their homework with your help.

TRANSITION DATES 2017

Please check you are aware of the dates set for your child's transition days. Children should NOT come to St.Thomas' on those days but are to go STRAIGHT to their secondary school. Please ensure your child is in their St. Thomas' school uniform and that you are aware of your child's new school's finishing times. We hope that the children have an enjoyable, safe and productive day.
