  Today is National Burns Awareness Day.

   

  There are some frightening statistics on how many children receive burns in the house every day.  Today, we are going to think about how we could try and prevent them.  Through some simple changes and constantly thinking about the dangers less of our children could suffer from these life long injuries.

  My own daughter received a burn from a hot drink and required intensive treatment in hospital and now, 6 years on is still a regular visitor to the Manchester Children's hospital.

  Over the next few days I will be sharing some flyers and advice to help you to protect your children.

  Two years ago Abdul Haadi in our school's 2 year old provision sadly passed away.  His mum is doing a charity fundraiser in memory of him.
