Maths
This half term we will begin by looking at Fractions, Decimals and Percentages and move onto converting units of measurement.
A good understanding of their times tables and place value will assist your child greatly!
We are visiting one area of wider maths each week. Our first area was angles. We looked at whether the angles were acute, obtuse or reflex angles as well as trying to use a protractor for the first time!
We have looked at reflection and translation. We have discovered that translation is a posh word for move!
Measure: We estimated and measured different lengths on the pitch and then measured our fantastic DT Primary Engineers cars!
