Dear Parents and Carers,
Firstly, thank you all so much for your incredible support this term it has made such a huge difference and is really appreciated. Our performances in school have been so well attended and the children (and staff) loved seeing you all there, thank you.
Thank you all for your kind generosity toward the Pakistan Flood Appeal. In total the fun run with Mr Miah (The Running Man) has raised over £3500. He was in school today to receive the cheque which he will be taking straight to the charity. The money will support the most needy families in this very challenging time. We will be receiving a video showing where our money has been used in the New Year.
School will be running the HAF holiday club over the Christmas break. If your child is eligible for free school meals and you would like them to come, please speak to the school office. If your child is eligible for free school meals you will receive the vouchers in the next few days. Any problems, please contact the school office.
School finishes on Friday at 1:30 and we return to school on Wednesday 4th January at 8:50. Please can you keep up your efforts in the new year with having the children ready in school on time. It is so much better and the staff are able to start lessons earlier meaning the children can learn more.
We have another change in school after Christmas. Mrs Richards is going on maternity leave to have her baby. Mrs Mounsey will be continue to work in the class along with another teacher who will be confirmed by the end of the week. We all wish Mrs Richards good luck and look forward to seeing her in school visiting soon.
