This half term the children have been learning about light and dark. The children enjoyed using equipment that gives us sources of light such as torches, glow sticks, pretend candles and lights. the children had fun when we turned all of the lights off and used our sources of light to see each other.
The children focussed on the book whatever next for two weeks this half term the children carried out various activities such as decorating a huge rocket to take them to the moon, going on a space walk and having a picnic on the moon, just like little bear did.
The children enjoyed learning about nocturnal animals such as owls. We loved reading Owl Babies and had so much fun going on our owl hunt all around the school.
