Instructions
Here are some examples of the children's instructions of 'How to make a chocolate sandwich'.
We then moved onto making chocolate sandwiches. The children used imperative verbs to write the instructions of how they made a chocolate sandwich.
We then wrote the step by steo instructions of how to make the pirate hat.
We have been learning how to write instructions. As a class we have been looking at what instructions are made of, playing games such as Simon says and finding imperative verbs in instructions. The children followed instructions to make a pirate hat- take a look below.
