Newsletter 14th September 2023

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome back to the new year, we all hope you had a good break even though the weather wasn’t quite what we hoped for.  It is so lovely to see all the children back in school and learning.

Thank you to all who have been coming at our new times to pick up and drop off.  The children are going into school at 8:45 and will be ready to be picked up at 3:10. If you are going to be late for either of these times, please call the office to let them know.

Uniform

Children need to be in their uniform every day (apart from their PE day) in school uniform.

Uniform for children is a yellow polo shirt and green sweatshirt /cardigan.  This is to be worn with black/grey trousers or skirt.  A green and white gingham dress can be worn when the weather is suitable.  Black shoes or black trainers should be worn.

PE kit is a white t-shirt and black pants/leggings/shorts.  Black pumps must be worn in Foundation/Key Stage 1.  Pumps or plain black trainers can be worn in Key Stage 2. Children need to come to school in their PE kit on their PE day.

You will be receiving 3 other very important documents which you need to check, sign and return to your child’s class teachers.

·      Contact sheet – please ensure your phone number and address are correct along with the other information on the letter.

Please also add any medical information school needs to know, this needs to include any allergies.  Once we have this information, school may call you to ask for a few more details.

·      Home School Agreement – please read carefully with your child, sign and return.

·      Permissions letter – please sign the relevant parts.

If you have any questions about any of these letters, please either speak to the class teacher or any other staff who are out on the yard before or after school.

Thank you

Mr McGrath
