Here is a website with activities for reception children. There is some nice writing activities that you can try with your child. If you scroll down on this website, click week 1, 2,3 or 4 next to reception and then lots of different maths and English activities will appear. If your child is writing sentences please let them have ago at writing some of these tasks.

Underneath this is a link to books you can find online. Once you have clicked on the link and have registered for FREE, you can browse different books that are in your child's book band by clicking on 'levels' and then book band, and you can browse lots of books to read online by clicking 'read eBook'
